Turning into the Erie Canal

Today is a busy day of lots of locks!!! We are up early at 6:00 am and off the dock at 7:00. Found out the lock doesn’t open til 8:00 so we tied up to a wall and waited til 8:00. At 8:00 we locked thru with 3 other boats Medici, Frosty, & Bay Explorer.

Locking is not hard you just have to keep a tight hand on the ropes and pay attention!!! We made it successfully through nine locks today!!!! We are feeling pretty confident!!!

We stopped for the night at Riverlink Park in Amsterdam NY. After a good dinner of salmon and some veggies, Patti and I went up to the flybridge with a cocktail and sat and enjoyed the view. I was in bed by 8:30pm. Goodnight!!!!
