Day 358 – June 14th 2023

This morning we are up at 7:00 am for an early start!!! We left the dock a little before 8:00 and headed north!!! We passed thru the entire New York City area and it was so pretty to look at from the water!!! We are moving north and once we were outside the city the scenery had an abrupt change to all forests—it was very pretty!!!

We arrived at our marina Half Moon Bay Marina at 11:30 am. We are all tied up and Patti is off walking Charlie. For dinner we had salmon wrapped in seaweed paper with rice and soy sauce. It was yummy!!!! We played Mexican Train a domino game. It was fun!!! I was the biggest loser but I won one game!!! Off to bed!!! Night night!!!

Day 359 – June 15th 2023

This morning we are up at 6:30am and are off the dock before 7:30am. It is a beautiful sunny day after the night of rain we had. The rain was fierce!!!! We are going to Kingston, New York. We made it safely around 1:20 pm.

We walked over to the Hudson River Maritime Museum. It was very interesting!!! Lots of boating history in the area. For dinner we walked into town and ate at Ship to Shore restaurant!!! It was delicious!!! I had ravioli!!! We walked back to the boat and I was in bed soon after.

Day 360 – June 16th 2024

This morning we are up and out by 7:00 am. We are going to have our mast stepped down at Catskills, New York at Hop – O – Nose Marina. That took about an hour or so.

We left there and are traveling up the Hudson for another couple hours to our destination of Shady Harbor Marina in New Baltimore, New York. We have passed all the remaining lighthouses on the Hudson – “The Seven Sentinels”.

We made it and are safely tied up at the dock. For dinner we went up to the restaurant here at the marina. I had eggplant Parmesan and pasta. It was yummy and I had leftovers!!! We came back to the boat and went to bed.
