Day 344 – June 1st 2023

We left the dock this morning at 7:00am. This is a very special day. It’s Granddaughter Number 1, Kinsley’s 10th Birthday! So hard to believe she is growing up so fast. We did FaceTime and get to enjoy part of her celebration. But that is no replacement for being there in person. Happy Birthday K!!

We are traveling along at 9.2 knots. It is a little cool outside. Not much boat traffic on the Chesapeake this morning. There is a little chop to the water. It is not as smooth as it was yesterday. It was still a nice travel day.

Pretty winery along the cruise!

We docked in at Delaware City Marina at 3:00 pm. We are tied to a long pier with a lot of other boats some who are loopers as well! We went to a meeting at 4:00 where the harbor master gave a briefing about the area and what’s coming up soon. We got to meet several other boaters. It was very informative!!!

Dockage at Delaware City Marina

We came back to the boat and Richard cooked shrimp for dinner!!! Soon after the dishes were done I was in the bed!!! These early mornings are getting to me!!!
