Day 353 – May 31 2023

Well, well, well!!!!! We are finally on the move again!!!! We are leaving the boatyard in Trapp, Maryland at 3:45 pm on Wednesday. We are only going about 3-4 hours away but we are moving!!!!

We had been at the boatyard for 2 weeks—the first week was spent at bed and breakfasts in the area and we were able to move onto the boat the second week. Boy was it ever filthy!!!! We spent the week cleaning and putting away the yard sale clutter that was everywhere !!!!

For our cruise today, we have onboard with us Mr. John Shannahan from the boatyard that did all the fabulous work on our boat. The boat is running very well as it should considering all the work that’s been done over the past 8 months!!!!

We arrived safely at 8:15 pm. It was still fairly light outside and we found our way to our slip. We docked safely and said goodbye to our friend John Shannahan as he left for home. We had grilled sausages for supper and went to bed. A long day!!!
