We left early this morning (7:30am) and headed towards Stock Island Marina near Key West. We enjoyed our time in Marathon and will return for March. We left a day earlier than planned to take advantage of a good weather travel day. Seas were calm and we had a nice current that helped us along.
We arrived at the marina around 12:30pm. We got tied up at our new slip and all settled in. This is a really nice marina!!! We spent a couple of weeks here last year and loved it. They have two nice pools, three restaurants, and a dog park for Charlie. There is a shuttle every hour that will take us to the beach or Key West. We’re looking forward to our month here.
We had leftover soup for lunch. Richard washed the boat. For dinner we cooked a pizza. Off to bed in our home for the next month.
