Today is a big day!!! We have 4 locks to get thru today!!! It’s cold today so Richard drove from the lower helm most of the day. Charlie and I relaxed on the sofa!
The first lock of the day had us wait over an hour. The final lock was having some maintenance work and so we had to wait a good while to get thru that one as well!!!
This delay put us behind on our schedule. Richard decided we couldn’t make our planned marina stop before dark so we stopped at an anchorage and dropped the hook. There were about 8 other boats anchored in this little creek we were in. We were the first boat in so we went back to the end of the anchorage.
It was a very peaceful night!!! Anchorages can be fun when there are no problems!!!
We cooked breakfast for dinner because we didn’t have anything thawed out. Off for a peaceful nights sleep!!!!
