We got up this morning and left the fuel pier at 8:30 am. Today we are going to Aqua Yacht Harbor on Lake Pickwick. Richard was up earlier. A bass fishing tournament was using the marina as the host site. He watched the blessing of the fleet and rallying of the fisherman to good old Southern Rock! And then 120 bass boats were released from the marina basin!
It is a fairly easy trip with no locks. What an incredibly beautiful lake this is!!! I don’t think I really appreciated it when we lived here!!! It really is a beautiful lake!!! And not very much boat traffic!!! Today we are mostly seeing bass boats!!
We arrived at Aqua Yacht Harbor and got tied up in our slip. The marina was having a customer appreciation day with beer and hot dogs so we went up there and helped them eat!!! We had a nice lunch!!! Richard grilled sausage for dinner. It was a good day at Aqua Yacht!!!!
