Today we are headed to Florence Marina in Florence, AL. We will only be here one night. This is a fairly easy trip—no locks or bridges!!! It only takes a few hours to get there. We have a relaxing evening on the boat.
Day 464 – November 3rd 2023
Today we are headed to Joe Wheeler State Park for the fall AGLCA rendezvous. It is a fairly short boat trip but we have to go thru 2 locks — and that takes some time!!! We finally arrive after making it thru the locks and got docked in our slip. Our friend Rob Roy Rice from Houston is here on board their boat Bullet. We went to dinner with him up at the restaurant. His wife Sherry is in the local hospital recovering from a broken leg. We had a good dinner with Rob Roy and are concerned about Sherry!
