Today we are traveling from Clifton, TN to Pickwick Landing State Park. We traveled about 8 hours and went thru one lock. We are back in our old stomping grounds!!!
We boated on Lake Picwick for many years when we lived in Memphis. It feels good to be in familiar waters!!! For dinner tonight we are going to one of our old haunts—The Catfish Hotel!!! We have eaten many meals here over the years!!!
It has not changed one bit and the food was just as delicious as we remembered it being!!! Tonight was a lot of fun!!! We had to take the Happy Hippie Car Service there and back – a $20 bargain each way. It is out in the middle of nowhere right next to Shiloh National Park.
Today was a very good day!!!
