This morning we are up at 6:00am for an early start. We left just before 7:00 and are underway. We had a couple of families of geese stop by to say goodbye. So many babies! Apparently, there is nothing to do here in the winter except…..

We have a total of 5 locks today. The locks are pretty spread apart so there is a lot of time between each one. Nothing too stressful. Patti and I have gotten this down pretty good!!!

We docked for the night on a city wall with no power in Sylvan Beach, NY. We are on the edge of Lake Oneida which we will cross tomorrow. It is a quaint little vacation town full of the vacation things like amusement rides and souvenir shops.

We ate dinner at a restaurant named The Crazy Clam. I had fish and chips and it was yummy!!! I had dessert too!!! So good!!! We came back to the boat and wandered off to bed.
Day 368 – June 24th 2023
This morning is sort of leisurely because we don’t have so far to go today. Only two and a half hours. So Patti got up and cooked breakfast!! We had bacon and French toast with sliced strawberries!!! Yummy!!! We are sure gonna miss Patti when she leaves!!! She has spoiled us!!!
This lake is big and so pretty!!! Lots of fishermen are out!!! The sky is very cloudy and we just had a sprinkling of rain. Our first rain in forever!!! We safely arrived to our destination of Brewerton, NY, Ess-Kay Yards. It is a nice surprise, a beautiful little well kept working marina with not many boats. Very lush and green all around!!! They had a courtesy car, so Richard took advantage and ran a few errands.

For dinner we had salmon and salad. Afterwards we played our final round of Mexican Train. We’ve had a lot of fun playing this the past several nights.
A Note from the Captain: She has a lot of fun with this game because she is quite competitive and never loses!
After that it was bedtime for Bonzo!!!!
