Today is a lazy rainy rest day. I slept til 10:30. I thought I heard someone knocking at the door and got up but saw no one. Richard was doing laundry and Patti was off somewhere. We borrowed the courtesy car and ran a few errands, groceries mostly.
We went up to the restaurant and had bloody Mary’s and a snack of calamari. We came back to the boat and relaxed with our tablets. For dinner Richard is cooking steaks and vegetables. We had Brussels sprouts, corn on the cob, and sweet potatoes YUMMY!!!! Off to bed after watching a little US Open golf.
Day 362 – June 18th 2023
We left about 10:00 am this morning. Just a leisurely cruise up the Hudson. Today we are going to Albany, NY. We did some pricing shopping and found fuel a bit cheaper there. We fueled up and pumped out. Richard and Patti walked to Aldi to buy a few more groceries. Today is Fathers Day!!! Happy FD honey!!! We made spaghetti for dinner and played Mexican Train afterwards. Nighty night!!!
Day 363 – June 19th 2023
Today is a short trip, only 14 miles but a bit of a test. We left Albany and went thru our first lock since the Dismal Canal, the Troy Federal Lock.
We got to the free wall in Waterford New York and tied up at the last available spot. This is a busy place!!!
We walked into town and had a great lunch at an Irish Pub. We snacked on salsa and chips and had margaritas on National Martini Day!!! We all turned in early for bed.
