Today our guest is coming onboard!!!! My cousin Patti is coming!!!! She arrived around 1:00pm. She moved into her cabin and got her things unpacked. Let the fun begin!!!! We went to the Liberty House restaurant for dinner. We all had a great dinner. I had sushi!!! Back to the boat and to bed. We were all tired and Patti had a long travel day.
Day 356 – June 12th 2023
Today we have an engine technician coming on board to do some work for us. He arrived a bit before lunch. Patti and I took the water taxi over to Jersey City and left Richard with the service tech.
We got off and walked to a restaurant and had a delicious lunch!!! We had a split pea hummus appetizer that was complimentary and was really good!!! We shared some sliders. Our lunch was delicious!!!
After that we ferried back to the boat. Later, we fixed some crackers and cheese and had appis on the top deck. That served as our dinner!!!! Another day in the books and off to bed!!!
Day 357 – June 13th 2023
We had an A/C worker on the boat early this morning. After they left, we all took the ferry and went into New York City in the afternoon. We went on a bus tour all over the city!! It was really good and informative!!!
We came back to the boat and we were pooped!!!! Patti made us a salad for dinner and it was the perfect way to end the day!!! Tomorrow we leave NYC and head up the Hudson River.
