Today is a down day. I slept until noon!!! Hallelujah!!! The wind is really howling today!!! It’s a good thing we are not moving today!!! We have had a lazy day!!! For dinner we got dressed and walked down the street to The Lobster House. We had a delicious seafood dinner with an ice cream sunday for dessert. When we were ready to walk back the water had risen so high that we had to leave the restaurant through the back door. The water was almost over the dock!!! It was another good day!!!!
Day 347 – June 4th 2023
This morning we got up and decided to go on a trolley tour of the area. We took a cab to the downtown area and boarded the trolley for the tour. It took us all around the area and showed us the town. After that we went to a grilled cheese restaurant for lunch where we both had a version of a grilled cheese sandwich. We shopped in a few shops and came back to the boat. I bought a sweatshirt.
Day 348 – June 5th 2023
This morning we slept in!!! Yeah!!! We were going to rent a car but they called and we could not rent the car at the rate we had reserved. It was going to be crazy expensive so we decided not to do that. We just hung around the boat and relaxed which was awesome!!! Richard got his bike down and did our laundry and made a run to the market and liquor store. Two things we always locate in a new town. For dinner Richard cooked sausage on the grill. Off to bed after watching the Astros destroy the Toronto Blue Jays!!!
