We are moving across the river to Oxford Maryland. It’s only about 12 miles, so a quick little morning cruise today.
We’ll get a chance to explore in Oxford but our main reason for stopping here is to prep the boat to leave it for the winter when we return to our home in Florida.The marina we’ll use in Oxford is owned by the boat yard where we will haul out and store GloriaUs. It’s a unattended Marina so Dawn and I will have to dock on our own. It’s OK, we are very capable crew!
We got tied up safely at the marina. It’s a great park nearby to walk Charlie in and he really enjoyed this stop. We found a really nice Italian restaurant within easy walking distance and had a great dinner there that evening.
