Today we travel to Cambridge MD. It will be about a 50 mile ride out the Eastern Bay and up the Choptank River. All the rivers pouring into the Chesapeake Bay make for a lot of fun exploring. We arrived at our marina around two and got safely tied up with the assistance of the great dock hands here.
We had a family of ducks who liked to spend the night on the walkway. Unfortunately that meant that their bathroom was also in the middle of the walkway. So we had to be careful where we stepped.
Cambridge is another quaint little town but unfortunately it’s not very walkable. We had intended to stay only one night but a bad weather system move in and we had to extend our stay.
