Can you believe it’s September??? Where has the summer gone??? We left this morning and are going to Point Lookout, MD. We had put the dingy in and went for a ride and rode it to a restaurant where we had a delightful dinner!!! It was really good and I had blackberry cobbler for dessert!!!! We rode back to the boat and loaded the dingy back on. It was a great night!!!
Day 337 September 2
We left Point Lookout this morning and are headed to Solomon’s Island. We got there at 1:00 pm. This is a really cute and quaint little place. We walked two doors down and had dinner at a nice restaurant. I think we will like staying here!!! We are staying at the Solomon’s Island Yacht Club and it’s a really nice place right in the middle of town.
Day 338 to 341 – September 3rd to 6th 2022
We will be staying here for a few days and I think we will like it. We got invited to go to the bar in the yacht club for cocktails one night. We ate out at several different restaurants while we were here. On Labor Day we got invited up to the clubhouse for a barbecue. We had ribs baked beans, coleslaw, beans, macaroni salad and lots of other yummy items for dinner. We had cake and ice cream for dessert!!! They are very friendly here and we appreciate their hospitality!!! We put the dingy in for exploring while we are here and we’re able to tie it up at the dingy dock overnight which was very helpful!!!
