Richard got up at 6am and he got me up this morning at 6:30am!!! Is this really necessary?? We left the dock at 7:00 am. It is a beautiful day as we cruise along up the historic Potomac River. We crossed under a huge bridge and the river narrowed significantly. It was a huge river – you could not see the sides it was so wide. Now we have good vision of the entire river.
We arrived at our marina in DC at 3:30 pm. This area is amazing there is so much history here. Coming in we could see Mt Vernon, Ft. Washington, the Washington Monument, and many other sights!!! We were looking everywhere!!!!
For dinner we walked to Hanks Oyster Restaurant and had a great meal!!! We walked down the boardwalk and had an ice cream after dinner. We watched the crowds stroll by from a comfortable ‘Cowch’. Back to the boat and off to bed. Tomorrow is a busy day!!!
