We left Ridge at 9:00 am and arrived at Colonial Beach, VA at 1:30 pm. We had to zig zag our way to the marina because we were called by the Range Patrol Boat. Turns out we were crossing the firing range during a “hot” drill. This means the military is doing artillery procedures in the area. So we quickly moved out of their way. But we never saw anything!!!
We got the golf cart from the marina and went into town for lunch. We ate at a Mexican restaurant. After lunch we went to the grocery store for a few supplies. We made it back to the marina around 4:00pm. We lazed around the remainder of the afternoon. Dinner and bed!!!
