Day 262 – June 15th 2022

Well that was a big break that we took!!!! We have been sitting at a marina for approx. 3 weeks, after returning from our break at home, trying to get our refrigerator and freezer fixed/replaced!!! The fridge is now working but no freezer. Nothing is ever easy on a boat!!!!! We finally decided no more waiting around and we were leaving!!!

The repairman is supposed to meet us in Savannah when we are stopping to have some other work done that has been planned for several months! Boating is not for the faint of heart!!!! There is always something that needs to be repaired!!! We left at 7:00 am and are going to Vero Beach. It is a very pleasant cruising day and not many other boats out!!!

We arrived safely and after refueling we tied up at the dock! Our fuel bill today was $1,350. Boating is not for the faint of heart!!! The Astros were playing an afternoon game and we caught the last few innings. They made MLB history by recording two immaculate innings (9 pitches, 9 strikes, three outs) from two different Astros pitchers! Way to go ‘Stros!

We had leftovers for dinner and off to bed after a long fun day!
