It’s another day in paradise in the Bahamas!!! Not a lot going on today. I’m still in my jammies at 2:30!!! For dinner tonight we have reservations because it is steak night!!! Always a popular night!!! They will have one of our favorites with Kevin and Brendel from the old Gully Roosters band playing in the courtyard. We went up for drinks at the bar before dinner and found an old burgee from Lakewood Yacht Club in Kemah. One of our first boating buddies, Gary Romer, is now the Commodore at LYC.
We had a wonderful dinner as always!!! And listened to some great music after dinner. Richard had to go to the boat for bug spray because the biting bugs were so bad!!! A little spray took care of them!!! We had a great night!!!

Day 251 – April 28th 2022
Not a whole lot going on. Richard did laundry today and washed the bedding. Richard cooked spaghetti for dinner. We watched the Astros beat the Rangers and then off to bed.
Day 252 – April 29th 2022
We were going to move the boat to Spanish Cay today but it was rainy and windy when we got up so we cancelled those plans. We went to the Green Turtle restaurant tonight for dinner. We thought it was prime rib night but we were wrong. We both had pasta dishes from the menu and mine was absolutely delicious!!! The best meal I’ve had in a while!!! I really liked it!!! Back to the boat for another Astros win against Toronto and off to bed!!!
Day 253 – April 30th 2022
Today has been a rainy day!!! Not a lot happening!!! We have reservations for dinner and our boat neighbor Tim (aboard Two Fish from Mt. Pleasant SC) is joining us. Tonight is prime rib night!!! Always a popular night!!! We all three had prime rib and it was delicious!!! We also got a yummy piece of cake for dessert!!! Yum!!! We had a very enjoyable evening!!!
Day 254 – May 1st 2022
We woke up this morning and decided today is a good day to leave Green Turtle. We left around 10 and headed to our anchorage at Great Sale Cay. We arrived at our destination at 5:00 pm. This is a popular spot!!! When we got there , there were 10 boats already anchored!!!! We found a good spot and dropped our anchor. We had a dinner of leftover spaghetti and I headed to bed shortly after!!! I didn’t sleep much the night before and I was tired!!!
