We took the golf cart for a ride around the area. We stopped for lunch at the Firefly Restaurant. It was delicious!!!! We cooked supper on the boat. Not much happening today.
Day 243 – April 20th 2022
David and Melissa decided to go explore Hopetown. They headed out and Richard and I met them at Cap’n Jacks for lunch. We all had good food and fruity drinks.We spent the afternoon riding around in the golf cart and exploring. For dinner we went to the Hopetown Pool Bar. Another fun day in paradise!!!
Day 244 – April 21st 2022
We moved over to Boat Harbour at Abaco Beach Resort in Marsh Harbor. It was a quick six mile journey. We spent the rest of the day in paradise just plunking around and relaxing!!! For dinner tonight we went to The Bistro for a fun last dinner out with David And Melissa. And boy was it ever delicious!!! We started with cocktails and then tequila shots!!! We all had very delicious meals!!! This restaurant is very well designed—the interior is beautiful!!!! What another fun day we have had!!!
Day 245 – April 22nd 2022
This morning David and Melissa had to get up early to go get their COVID test for their return trip home. We met them afterwords for breakfast at the Boat Harbor Tiki Hut. We all had a yummy breakfast!!! We didn’t do too much today. There is a White Marlin Tournament going on and it was fun watching the fishermen. Michael Jordan’s boat, Catch 23 is in the tournament. Sadly we had no MJ sightings.
David and Melissa were packing for their trip home. I’m sad because our company is leaving!!! We have had so much fun together on this trip!!!
Day 246 – April 23rd 2022
This morning we had to say our goodbyes to David and Melissa!!! They left pretty early around 6:30AM. Richard and I spent the day doing boat chores!!! He did multiple loads of laundry washing all the sheets, towels and other dirty clothes we had. It has been a lazy sort of day!!!
Day 247 – April 24th 2022
This morning we decided to leave Boat Harbor Marina in Marsh Harbor and move to Orchid Bay Marina in Great Guana Cay. We didn’t do much after we arrived and got the boat all tied up. We had a lazy restful afternoon!!!
Day 248 – April 25th 2022
Today we decided to take the dingy over to Grabbers for lunch. We both had a Grabber to drink — their version of a very tasty rum punch!!!! And we shared a meal of Chicken In Da Bag!!! A really good and tasty chicken meal!!!!! We dingy’d back to the boat and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon and evening!!!
Day 249 – April 26th 2022
This morning we woke up and decided to move the boat. We went to Green Turtle Marina — one of our favorite stops in the Abacos!!!! It felt really good to be back in one of our favorite marinas so far!!! We had lunch in the marina restaurant. I had lobster salad that was delicious!!! After lunch we didn’t do much. We went up to the bar for drinks in the late afternoon. We talked to some friends we have made on the docks and had a very nice time. For dinner Richard made spaghetti that was delicious!!! We have had another fun day in paradise!!!
