Well our GloriaUs time in Charleston has come to an end!!!! It’s time for us to say goodbye!!! We headed out at 8:15 this morning and it is perfect conditions for a boat ride. Today we are going to Bohicket Marina in Kiawah Island. We are heading back south because Richard has us scheduled to have some boat work done in Savannah GA. We didn’t get as far north as we thought we would but we will be by this way again soon!!
Change of plans: we got to Kiawah around noon and decided we could go on to Beaufort!!! So on we went!!! We arrived in Beaufort around 4:00 and all is well!!! We are all tied up at their very nice dock. For dinner Richard cooked a nice steak and we had potatoes and asparagus. Yummy!!!! Off to bed after dinner.
We had a bit of a scare with Charlie last night. He wriggled out of Richard’s hands getting off the boat for his nightly walk and wound up in the water. Richard quickly scooped him out, no boy was hurt. But it meant a midnight bath for Charlie. Goodnight!!!
