We left the Sunbury Crab Co. at 9:40 am and headed to Savannah Ga. We had a pleasant ride and a nice surprise while underway.
We have a boating app called Nebo. It allows boaters to share their location and creates a cruising log will you are underway. You can share your location with just connected friends or share it with all users. We have ours set to share with all. A couple from TN were visiting friends on the ICW south of Savannah and were on the dock when we went by. They took a picture of GloriaUs underway and sent it to us thru the app. A complete stranger doing an act of kindness. Isn’t life great! We made it to Savannah at 3:00 pm. It was a nice boat ride up a very scenic section of the ICW.
We are docked in at Thunderbolt Marina. It is a nice marina. We are meeting our nephew Harrison Enfinger tonight for dinner. He lives here in Savannah. Harrison came over to the boat and we had a cocktail and visited for a while then we left to go to dinner. Harrison drove us in his truck. We realized he just lives right down the street from the marina. He rode us by his apartment and showed us his boat.
We went to a really nice restaurant, the Sundae Cafe on Tybee Island. We had a delicious meal!!!! I had flounder again — I know but it’s really good. When I saw they had it as a special, I had to have it again!!! And it didn’t disappoint!!! It was absolutely delicious!!!! We all had a great meal. We shared a couple of desserts. Only no go was the peach cobbler. For some strange reason they put Chocolate ice cream on it. Must have been out of vanilla! Don’t try that at home! We were off to come back home to the boat.
We had a fun night with him!!! We got back to the boat and I climbed into bed. Another awesome day in the books!!!
