This morning we got up and got ready to leave at 9:00 am. We pulled out of the slip and headed north. It was a pretty uneventful trip till we ran into a nasty rain storm!!! It got very windy for a bit!!! We got to the Eau Gallie Yacht Basin marina and safely tied up. The storm has passed and the weather is nice.
The residents of the marina have built a party patio. It reminded us of all the good times we had back at South Shore on the Pier 1 Party Pier.
We had some cocktails and sat around on the boat. Someone was over served but his name shall remain nameless. It was not the Captain though.
For dinner Richard found a nearby restaurant to get takeout from so that’s what we did!!! I had lobster Mac and cheese and it was delicious!!!! Came with a salad too!!! After dinner I was off to bed to read my book “Before She Knew Him” a suspense thriller—not my usual type of book but it’s very good!!!
