Today we woke up and decided today was the day to go home. The seas were forecast to be 1-2 feet and so we got ready to leave. I have to say that I was not a willing partner!!!! I moaned the whole day about how I was not ready to leave, that I really wanted to stay longer! I had more things here that I wanted to do but it fell on deaf ears. The decision had been made — today was the day to go.
And so we left my happy place behind and traveled across the Atlantic to Florida. No fears there are more happy places to discover!
We arrived in Florida around 5:00 pm and it was a smooth safe crossing!!! We got tied up in our new marina in Pompano Beach, FL and everything was good. We’ll give GloriaUs a good bath tomorrow and head home to Miramar Beach for a few weeks. We’ll restart our blog when we return for the next leg of the adventure!
