Day 92 – May 29th 2021

This morning when we got up, Rob Roy told us he was leaving the marina to go to Bimini Big Game Club Marina for a slip, or if he could not get in there he was going to anchor out. We decided to stay at our marina one more night to be guaranteed a slip.

We were in a good spot to ‘people watch’, so very entertaining! Lot of beautiful boats with some near nudity aboard. We also discovered our slip was on an active runway for the seaplane’s take off and landings. Fun to watch. The plane…not the nudity!

We heard about a memorial to Martin Luther King that is in the mangroves and only accessible by dingy. So we decided to put ours in and go searching. Unfortunately we couldn’t get to the spot due to low tide. We did see 100’s of starfish, which was a new experience. They were bright orange and so beautiful. That was worth the trip!

Rob Roy was able to get into the other marina about 4PM so we’ll move tomorrow. We enjoyed cocktails on the flybridge. Richard grilled steak for dinner. It was a good night!!!
