Today is Sunday and we have a trip planned to go to Atlantis!!!! We had a Taxi pick us up at 2:00 and we left the marina. The cab driver was a very nice lady.
First she took us to the building where we got the COVID test. We had to do this before we could go in. She waited for us to get the test and then she took us to the casino entrance. She let us wait in the cab until our negative result came over the phone. Come to find out the test was not necessary as we had both been fully vaccinated. She was very generous to help us!!! We passed and headed into the casino.
The building is huge and very pretty!!!! The casino was very nice inside and no smoking! We found a lot of fun games to play and we enjoyed ourselves but won no money!!!! For dinner we went to a restaurant called Olives. We had an outside table that overlooked the Atlantis Marina. We had flirted with the idea of taking a slip for GloriaUs a night or two here. Poor thing would have developed an inferiority complex with all the big yachtys around.
The food was delicious!!! I had scallops and Richard had a pasta dish. We shared a dessert that was yummy!!!! We left the restaurant and went back to the casino for a while. Around 9:00 we decided we had made enough of a donation and went outside to get a taxi back to the boat. It was a fun night and we had a great time!!!!!
