Today is a day of play!!!! We HAVE nothing to do but entertain ourselves!!! We decided to go to the beach!!! We loaded our dingy with chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler stocked with essentials and headed out.
We found a perfect spot on a totally empty beach and set up our site!!! We opened a bottle of champagne to toast our great adventure. It was awesome!!!!! We had a wonderful time and Charlie enjoyed his beach time as well!!! He loved rolling in the sand so we knew it would mean a bath for him when we went back. Rob and Sherrie came over for a while too!!! We had fun but finally it was time to go.
We have dinner reservations at 6:00 pm at a nearby restaurant. They are dog friendly so Charlie gets to go. We came back to the boat and showered and were back in the dingy by 5:00 headed to dinner. The first way we tried to go didn’t work out very well as it was a climb up a long dock ladder. One benefit though, some kind folks took our trash bag and dumped it. It many spots in the Bahamas you must pay between $5-10 per bag for garbage disposal.
We had to turn around and landed the dingy on the beach to try again!!! Much better and after a short walk down a beautiful path we made it to our destination. The quaint little restaurant was very nice and we all had a great meal!!!! Back to the boat and off to bed!!!!
