We spent a second day at anchor at Allens Cay. After the drama of the night, we tried the dingy again. Surprise!!! It works!!! Just a loose fuel line!!!! So we decided to go for a short cruise.
Allens Cay is known for Iguana Beach, where you guessed it home for giant Iguana’s. Some of them were as big as Charlie. But he scared them and they would run away from him. We spent the rest of the day relaxing!!
Richard went to crank the generator at the end of the day and guess what..nothing! After a day at anchor we were looking forward to cocktails and a nice dinner with no drama! Not to be!
We were down to no lights and it was dark!!!! He was trying everything he could think of and having no success!!! Finally one last idea and it worked!!!! We had lights and air conditioning!!!!! But this was at 9:30 at night!!!! I headed for bed with no dinner. Richard stayed up and grabbed a bite to eat but there was no chicken casserole as had been planned. Oh well we’ll have it tomorrow!!!!
