Today is a day of rest!!! I slept until 11:00am though Richard was up much earlier!!! He went to the “Coin Laundry” and did a load of clothes. It should be called “Coins Laundry” because it cost $11.50!!
I dressed and got ready for the day when he came back to the boat. We walked a few “blocks” and blocks is in quotation marks because the roads here are very “whonky”!!! They are very narrow like big enough for 2 golf carts!!!! And the buildings are built right on top of the road!!! No sidewalks!!!! Later we learned they are like this because they were built originally as pedestrian walkways.
We went to The Dolphin House for a tour. It is down a small side street and is very eclectic!!!! It is entirely handmade and is 3 stories tall. The builder is a very interesting Bahamian man, Ashley Saunders. This museum/home has been under construction for over 30 years. He gave us a guided tour that was very entertaining. After the tour we walked back to the boat. We went to the Marina restaurant for dinner and a few Painkillers to relax from the stress of the day. I had lobster and Richard had local fish. They were both delicious!!!! After dinner we all went straight to bed!!!

The “Coins” Laundry awaits!
