Day 54 – April 21st 2021

We left the marina at 6:50 am. Yeah!!!!! We are officially back on the water and it feels so good!!!!! It’s just now getting to be daylight so our timing is perfect!!!! As we were pulling out of the slip two huge barges passed us so our timing really is perfect!!!! Well we didn’t get far and we started having an engine alarm going off. So we stopped at the entrance to the gulf and changed the Racor filter. We will see if that helped. We entered the gulf at 7:53 am. Charlie tossed his cookies!!! We are bouncing around quite a bit and while it’s not too bad it is enough to make him sea sick!!! It is hard to walk around. We arrived in Bimini at 2:00pm. It is absolutely beautiful here!!! The water is the most perfect color of turquoise that you have ever seen!!!! The marina is Bimini Big Game Club and its nice!!!! There is a pool and a restaurant. We think we will be here for about 3 days waiting for a good weather window before we leave. After we arrived we were brought the forms we needed to fill out for customs and immigration. We completed them and Richard took them to the customs office. I could not leave the boat. He returned about an hour later and we had cleared fine but the Rices were having problem. Rob had a few discrepancies to clear up and the customs officer came to their boat to clear them up. We love Bimini it’s awesome here!!!!
