This morning Richard got up early and got on the phone trying to get me an appointment to get the COVID vaccine in Houston. About 8:00AM he had me an appointment for the afternoon so off we went to the airport!!! I flew solo to Houston from Key West. Matt and Joanna picked me up at the airport in time for lunch.
After lunch they took me to the location for the shot. Joanna went in with me and helped guide me thru the maze inside!!!! Through some error, I was not on the list to get the shot but it didn’t seem to be a problem. I filled out a couple of forms and off I went. Got the shot and had to wait 20 minutes to see if I had any reactions – I didn’t and so was allowed to leave.
We went to Matt and Joanna’s house and sat outside by their new fire pit that evening. They have a beautiful backyard that has been redone. Off to bed around 9:00PM after a whirlwind day!
