We got up this morning and got dressed. We are going to tour the Little White House. This is where President Truman spent a lot of time vacationing during his presidency. It was a very Floridian home. It was decorated with a lot of rattan and wicker furniture. The Truman’s would dock the presidential yacht off of the coast and cook all the meals on the ship because the kitchen in the house was very small.
Many other presidents and dignitaries have used Truman’s Little White House for important government meetings over the years!! It was a fun afternoon of touring. We were not allowed to take any photos in the building so we have nothing to show from inside
For dinner tonight Richard and I went to The Half Shell to eat. Colby did not want to go so we got him take out to bring back home. Another fun day on the boat!!!
