Today we have decided to rent a scooter!!! It’s kinda like a motorcycle with 3 wheels!!! It has 2 seats and I sit right behind Richard in my own seat!! We walked over to the cycle shop at noon and chose our buggy. First stop was for lunch on Taco Tuesday at Stock Rock.
We took off riding all over the island. We explored everywhere!!! We rode all around the coastline of Key West stooping at the Southernmost point of the US, Higgs Beach, and of course downtown to Duval Street. We stopped and got off our trusty steed.
We walked to an ice cream shop and got an ice cream, and then on to a bar to people watch and a couple of drinks. We got back on the scooter and went to the grocery store. Richard went in and got a few supplies we needed , some wine and a bag of ice. We loaded everything on the scooter and took it to the boat.
After that we met Jeff, Melissa, and two other couples at the Hurricane Hole bar for drinks. We also had some delicious fish bites!!! Yummy!!! At 6:00 we had to leave to turn in the scooter.
We came back home and had a lazy night. I skipped dinner because I was still full from the fish at the bar. Richard cooked himself a hamburger. Off to bed – it was a good day!!!
