Today we are traveling from Marathon to Key West. We left around 9:00am. It’s about a 5 hour trip. The water is very smooth so we are glad we decided to wait an extra day before coming here. We got to Key West around 2:00 pm. Our good friends, Jeff and Melissa Davis are already here and met us at the dock. We are right across from their boat!
We went over to their boat for cocktails and snacks. We took a bottle of Dom Perrione that Richard had been given to celebrate his retirement. He wanted to share it with Jeff. For dinner we had takeout from the marina bar, Salty Oyster.
