This morning we woke up around 7.30am!!!! I know CRAZY for me right???? It must be all the fresh air from this anchorage!!! We had breakfast and got ready to go. Richard got up the anchor with me at the helm. We left in very shallow water 5 ft!!! I guess the tide is out!!! We are cruising along in 13 ft. of water with no other boats in sight. We did have one boat come anchor close to us last night. They must have gotten in late because we just saw them this morning.
We made it to our anchorage in Little Shark River right next to a Hatteras and another smaller boat that came in and anchored across from us. Must be a poplar place!!! This seems to be a pretty protected spot.
Richard is trying to repair the windlass that decided to quit working when we were lowering the anchor. Charlie and I are watching tv. We cooked hamburgers on the grill for dinner. Another quiet peaceful night at anchor!!
